I designed Muralla for Oda Design Lab. After design process, we created mold basis by using 3d printer. Next step was using silicone for create its molds. As you can see in the image below, Muralla has four standing alone parts. So each parts of the design creating separately. In this way it is possible to create numerous variations of Muralla.
The name and design were inspired by Ricardo Bofill’s La Muralla Roja. This sculpture that can be used as a bookend was designed as an experimental study and small scale collage of architectural elements. It consists of four different parts:
Wall, bartizan, stair, cupola
